The Global Journal of Earth Science and Engineering operates under an open-access model, ensuring that published articles are freely and permanently accessible to readers worldwide.
APC Policy
An Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 400 applies to manuscripts accepted for publication after completion of the peer review process.
The APC supports:
- Management of the peer review process
- Copyediting, typesetting, and online publication
- Long-term digital archiving
- Post-publication dissemination and indexing preparation
There are no submission fees. The APC is requested only after a manuscript has been formally accepted.
APC Waivers and Reductions
APC waivers or reductions may be considered on a case-by-case basis for:
- Invited manuscripts
- Editorially supported contributions
- Authors with demonstrated resource limitations
The decision to grant an APC waiver or reduction is made independently of the editorial evaluation of the manuscript and does not influence peer review outcomes.
Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of:
- Scholarly merit
- Originality
- Methodological rigor
- Relevance to the journal’s scope
The payment or non-payment of APCs has no influence on editorial decisions. Editors and reviewers are not involved in APC administration.
