Aims and Scope

Biosensors have become increasingly important across industries such as food safety, environmental monitoring, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals. Recent advances in nanostructured materials, particularly nanocarbon materials (graphene, carbon nanotubes, carbon nitride), have driven innovations in the biosensor field. These materials exhibit high stability, sensitivity, and selectivity, making them ideal for bioelectronics, wearable devices, and sustainable biosensing applications.

This Special Issue will cover current and future trends in nanomaterials for bioenergy and biosensing, along with their practical applications. Submissions related to the following areas are encouraged:

Topics of Interest

  • Carbon-based nanomaterials (graphene, carbon nanotubes, carbon nitride)
  • Nanocomposites and bio-nanocomposites
  • Electrochemical and optical biosensors
  • Environmental monitoring and remediation
  • Wearable electronic devices
  • Fabrication and characterization of functional nanomaterials
  • Photocatalysis and catalysis
  • Nano-biosensors and nanotoxicology

Submission Details:

  • Submission Deadline: January 31, 2025
  • Authors are invited to submit high-quality original research and review articles that align with the scope of this Special Issue.

We look forward to your contributions and encourage you to submit your manuscripts before the deadline. This Special Issue offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your work in a rapidly growing field and to contribute to impactful research.

Sincerely,
