Prof. José M. Merigó Lindahl is a Full Professor at the School of Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Barcelona with specialization in Information and Decision Sciences. His research focuses on computational intelligence, decision theory, uncertainty modeling, bibliometrics, and financial engineering.

Prof. Merigó has authored over 200 journal articles and more than 20 books, with over 20,000 citations and an h-index above 70 (Google Scholar). He is recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher in Computer Science and Cross-Field by Clarivate Analytics. He has previously held academic positions in Chile, Spain, Sweden, and the UK.
